Meta must be feeling very confident about the security of its WhatsApp messaging application. The company is co-sponsoring this year’s Pwn2Own competition (from ZDI, the Zero Day Initiative group) with a cool combined $2 million in prizes. If you’re clever enough, you can earn $1 million with a single Whatsapp exploit.

We’re broadly of the opinion that Intel’s Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) doesn’t really get its due. Most people seem to be unaware that XeSS runs not only on Intel’s own graphics processors, but also on any recent AMD and NVIDIA GPU. The key requirement is support for the DP4a compute instruction. That’s present on AMD RDNA 2 (RX 6000) and newer
