An open-source fully custom GPU has come out of stealth after four years in development. FuryGPU has been a one-man effort from games software developer Dylan Barrie, who says he put together this extremely complex hardware and software project in his spare time. It can run Quake at 60fps.
Phanteks cut a few corners with its $80 XT Pro Ultra case. But with four 140mm RGB fans and support for rear-connector motherboards, it’s a great budget option. We just wish a third USB port and a front dust filter were included.
The PNY CS3150 is yet another PCIe 5.0 SSD, setting itself apart with a dual-fan cooler with optional RGB lighting. Performance is good and the dual fans aren’t loud and help the drive stay very cool. However, it offers little new and tends to be expensive, and we can’t currently find the 2TB model for sale.
