CosmicStrand Malware Infects ASUS, Gigabyte Motherboards
Security software provider Kaspersky has digged into a newly-identified malware that resides at the heart of your PC – the BIOS. CosmicStrand, as it has become known, mainly seems to infect Intel H81-based motherboards. But since it’s been just discovered, more infections may be lurking in disguise.
